Welcome to Zpply ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our job application automation platform.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
Zpply does not ask for or store your job portal passwords. You sign in through each portal's own login page. To carry out the actions you authorise, we store an encrypted session token for that portal. The token is deleted when it expires, when you disconnect the portal, or when it is no longer needed. Copies may remain briefly in backups and security logs before they are overwritten on their normal cycle.
Zpply scores jobs against the profile, preferences and rules you provide. In Review mode you decide whether to submit each application. If you turn on Auto mode, Zpply may submit applications that meet the score, preferences and limits you set. You can pause Auto mode or change your rules at any time.
These scores decide which jobs Zpply shows or applies to on your behalf. They are not hiring decisions. Zpply does not decide whether an employer interviews or hires you, and does not score you for an employer.
When Zpply submits an application, your information is shared with the employer, the recruiter, the job portal and the applicant tracking system involved in that application. Those recipients control their own copies of your information and handle it under their own privacy policies. Deleting your Zpply account does not delete an application that has already been sent, and we cannot withdraw it for you. To have it removed you would need to contact the employer or portal directly.
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored portal session tokens, restricted access for people who operate the Service, and separation between development and production environments. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that your data will never be accessed by unauthorised means.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure, and cookies that remember your preferences such as your theme. We also use analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser preferences, though blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in.
Our platform integrates with job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, Instahyre) and OAuth providers (Google, LinkedIn). These services have their own privacy policies that govern their data practices.
We keep different information for different periods. Portal session tokens are deleted when they expire or when you disconnect that portal. Application records and receipts are kept while your account is open, so that you can see what was sent on your behalf. Security logs and backups are kept on a rolling cycle and are overwritten in the ordinary course, which means a copy of deleted data can persist for a short period after deletion. Where the law requires us to keep records, such as tax records, we keep them for the period required. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your data may be processed outside the country where you live, because some of the providers that host and operate the Service are located elsewhere. Those providers include cloud hosting, database hosting, error monitoring, email delivery and analytics. Where data is transferred we rely on contractual terms with those providers covering confidentiality and security. Write to us at the address below for the current list of providers and the countries they process data in.
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will publish the updated version with a new effective date, and we will tell you by email or in the product if the change is significant. If we want to use your personal data for a new purpose that requires your consent, we will ask you before doing so.
